Written and Directed by Tom Schrack, the story follows an American skateboarder whose skateboarding session gets derailed when a French skateboarder shows up and wants to play a game of S.K.A.T.E. Different languages, same rules.
S.K.A.T.E. is Tom's first short film, inspired by his life and own experience as a casual skateboarder.
S.K.A.T.E. screened early November 2025 at the Alexandria Film Festival in Alexandria, PA, Red Rose Film Festival in Lititz, PA, and Wheaton Film Festival in Wheaton, MD, and won WFF's Levin Grand Prize.
